Michael “Mike” Scheidegger, 61, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born November 25, 1954 in Topeka, the son of William J. and Peggy (Bowser) Scheidegger.
Mike graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. He was employed as a carpenter in the housing industry.
Mike married Lola Lovelady on June 27, 1981 in Topeka. They later divorced. Survivors include one son, Matthew Scheidegger, one step-daughter, Christine Hester, his mother, Peggy Scheidegger, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers, Gary (Janet) Scheidegger and Jeff (Tracye) Scheidegger.
Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
