Mary "Arlene" Burkdoll, 92, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Brewster Place.
Arlene was born January 29, 1924 in Princeton, KS, the daughter of Joe and Frances Plaschka. She graduated from Princeton High School.
She was a Girl Scout leader, past president of a P.T.A, past president of the Optimist women and volunteered at the Republican Party headquarters in Topeka.
Arlene Married Harold M. Burkdoll on September 20, 1946 in Ottawa, KS. He died November 25, 2012. Survivors include daughters, Jan Montague, Leawood, KS, Marcia Streich, Montrose, CO; grandchildren, Mindy (Rob) Teel, Tyler Streich; great-grandchildren, Willa and Wyatt; brother, Howard Plaschka; and sisters, Wilma Powls and Helen Schreier.
Private family inurnment will be in the Lyndon Cemetery.
