Floyd E. Haslett, 95, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at a Topeka care facility. He was born July 18, 1921 in Overbrook, KS, the son of Curtis E. and Nellie E. (Branson) Haslett.

Floyd resided in Osage City, KS for 19 years prior to moving to Topeka in 1966. He was employed by John Hoffer.

Floyd married Cleo M. Crisler on March 18, 1940 in Council Grove, KS. She preceded him in death on February 24, 1996. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Kosloske, one sister, Ina Manning and one brother, Clarence Haslett.

Survivors include one daughter, Lois (John) Washburn of Auburn, KS, one son, Clifford (Sidney) Haslett of Chanute, KS, six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Floyd will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
