Lela L. Paden, 89, of Topeka, passed away July 18, 2016 at Brewster Place.
She was born December 31, 1926 in Hunter, KS, the daughter of Charlie and Lula (Schnieder) Diers.
Lela married Carl "Jiggs" Paden on May 24, 1953. He preceded her in death in 2014.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Paden of Topeka, sons Doug Paden (Janelle) of Newton, KS and Gerry Paden (Pam) of Roeland Park, KS; 5 grandchildren Matthew (Amanda), Abigail, Blake, Mitchell and Jonathan and 2 great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Sophia.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23 at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 2914 SE. Michigan, Topeka, KS 66605
Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church.
