Diane Davidson, 60, of Topeka, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.

She was born September 14, 1955, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Harley Lunell and Marcie (Frost) Davidson. She was a 1973 graduate of Topeka West High School and was a member of the Topeka West Singer. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Washburn University.

After several different jobs in her early years, she worked for nearly 30 years for the State of Kansas, retiring in 2014.

Diane was a committed Christian and attended Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved art and music.

Diane is survived by her mother, Marcia Manchester; brothers, Mark (Ruth) Davidson and Joel (Connie) Davidson, all of Topeka; nieces and nephews, Julie (Micah) Salazar, Joel (Jessica) Davidson, Chris (Carrie) Davidson, Erika (Clay) Toomey and Jamie Davidson, Jeanne (Austin) Thompson; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

She was dearly loved.

Honoring her request, Diane was cremated. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Fellowship Bible Church, 6800 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66615.
